About the American Institute of Legal Advocates
The American Institute of Legal Advocates (AIOLA) is an organization committed to recognizing attorneys who maintain ethical and integral standards throughout their legal work. In order to select these legal professionals, AIOLA collects candidate nominations and analyzes each nominee’s case results, reviews, and overall legal successes. Additionally, the organization researches recommendations from other attorneys in the nominee’s field and verifies that the nominee is in good standing with their current state bar before recognizing them as a member.
The Rising Star accolade is reserved for attorneys who excel in their area of law and exhibit strong ethics. At Farah Law, we are proud to have Alyssa Romero on our legal team.
About Alyssa L. Romero
In the fall of 2010, Alyssa Romero began her legal career at Thurgood Marshall School of Law. During her education, she received a CALI award, which recognized her academic achievement surrounding wills, trusts, and end of life law. She additionally studied at William and Mary School of Law while traveling abroad in Spain, and made the Dean’s list multiple times. During her third year in law school, she began building her professional experience as a clerk at Farah Law. After graduating Cum Laude in 2013, we invited her to join our legal team as a full-time attorney at the Edinburgoffice.
Alyssa continues her legal practice while managing our Edinburgand Brownsville offices. She is a member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Hidalgo Bar Association, and she is the Treasurer of the Hidalgo County Young Lawyers Association. She works primarily in personal injury law, school law, and real estate law.
