Clute, TX (November 17, 2020) – An automobile crash in the Clute area claimed the life of one man on Saturday morning, according to law enforcement reports. At approximately 5:45 a.m., on November 14, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a crash on Farm to Market Road 523.
According to DPS reports, a 2012 Cadillac 500 was traveling north on Farm to Market Road 523 when it collided with a Ford F-350.
The driver of the Cadillac, who was identified as 29-year-old Aaron Castillo, was fatally injured in the accident. DPS troopers pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
The two people inside the Ford, a 43-year-old male from the Angleton area and an 11-year-old male, were both injured. Both victims were transported to CHI St Luke’s Health Brazosport for treatment immediately following the crash.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
