Houston, TX (November 22, 2020) – The Houston Police Department was called to the site of a vehicle collision in Harris County that left four people injured on Friday evening. On November 20, emergency crews were notified of a traffic-related incident on Travis Street.
Reports show that a Houston Police Department cruiser with two officers was traveling near the 1900 block of Travis Street when their vehicle was struck by an Impala at the intersection with St Joseph Parkway.
The impact of the crash sent the cruiser into the front door of the Lone Star Saloon located at the intersection. Both vehicles were left with significant damage from the crash.
The two officers were provided medical treatment for injuries sustained in the crash. The driver and the passenger in the Impala were both transported to local hospitals for the treatment of undisclosed injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
