Kingwood, TX (November 11, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident in the Kingwood area claimed the life of one Teen on Tuesday. At approximately 7:30 p.m., on November 10, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the site of a crash on the Eastex Freeway.
Reports from authorities show that a Mercedes, a Nissan pickup truck, and a Dodge pickup truck took place on the Eastex Freeway near Kingwood Drive. The crash caused significant damage to all three vehicles involved.
A 17-year-old male, who was a passenger in the Nissan, was fatally injured. Authorities pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The 16-year-old driver of the Nissan was seriously injured in the crash. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
