Liberty, TX (November 30, 2020) – A four-vehicle collision reported 45-minutes outside of Houston claimed the lives of two people while leaving several others injured. On November 29, emergency crews responded to the scene of a vehicle collision on Texas State Highway 105.
Reports from authorities show that a BMW crashed head-on into a Mustang on Texas State Highway 105 near the Trinity River Bridge, at approximately 8 p.m. Two other vehicles somehow became involved in the collision, although details are limited at this time. The impact of the crash sent the BMW over the bridge. The BMW fell down 230-feet before landing below.
The drivers of both the BMW and the Mustang were killed instantly in the crash. The 15-year-old driver of a third vehicle was transported to a nearby hospital via helicopter for treatment. Two other people were treated for minor injuries. A six-month-old child inside one of the vehicles was uninjured.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
