Houston, TX (October 12, 2020) – An automobile accident reported in Harris County claimed one person’s life and left a second person seriously injured. On October 11, the Harris County Constables responded to the scene of an accident on Texas 8 Beltway.
Reports from authorities show that a Constable Deputy with the Harris County Constables Precinct 4 was traveling on the westbound feeder lanes of Texas 8 Beltway when his vehicle collided with a second vehicle near the intersection with Hollister Road.
The impact of the crash caused extensive damage to both vehicles involved. The Deputy was rushed to an area hospital via ground transport for treatment of injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, the Harris County Constables are investigating the accident.
