Harris County, TX (August 23, 2021) - Three people lost their lives in three separate incidents along FM 1960 late Sunday, August 22, according to information from officials. The incidents occurred just after 10:00 p.m. west of I-45.
Reports show that a Chrysler sedan headed east on FM 1960 struck two pedestrians who were in the roadway. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics who responded to the call concerning the wreck.
Police stated that the driver stayed at the scene in order to cooperate with authorities. A few moments later, as traffic was being stalled in the area, another fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place.
It is believed by authorities that a 2017 Jeep maneuvered around traffic in the westbound lanes and hit another person. That person was also pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep did not stop to render aid or wait for authorities. Police in the area continue to investigate the fatal incidents.
