Houston, TX (February 07, 2021) - Police responded to the scene of an accident in which eight people were injured when an SUV crashed into a grocery store on Saturday, January 30th.
An official with the Houston Police Department stated that several shoppers were inside a Fiesta Mart when an SUV crashed through the supermarket’s front doors at about 3:00 p.m.
Reports say that eight people who were inside the store at the time were either injured directly by the SUV or by flying debris.
The victims included a 9-year-old child and one person who sustained a head wound, but all injuries were classified as non-life-threatening.
