Harris County, TX (January 18, 2021) – An auto accident reported on the east side of Harris County claimed one woman’s life on Sunday evening, according to local news reports.
On January 17, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a crash on Garth Road at approximately 5 p.m. Reports show that a black pickup truck and a black SUV collided on Garth Road at the intersection with Barbers Hill Road.
The impact of the crash sent both vehicles off the side of the road. One driver attempted to flee the accident but was apprehended by police. One person involved in the crash, who was identified as an adult female, was fatally injured in the accident. The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are underway with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
