Harris Co, TX (July 11, 2021) - A driver was killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 45 on Sunday, July 11th in Harris County.
According to officials, at about 12:35 a.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene of a three-car accident in the southbound lanes of the interstate near the exit for Cypress Wood Drive.
A caller told dispatch that three vehicles collided, causing one of them to crash into a concrete retaining wall. The car overturned on impact.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The freeway was temporarily closed while investigators reconstructed the crash.
