Houston, TX (June 22, 2021) - A major vehicle collision occurred in Houston on the afternoon of June 22. At approximately 2:48 p.m., police and EMTs were sent to assist at the scene of the wreck.
Sources indicate that the accident happened in the 15700 block of Ridgecroft Road near the Shell Gas Station. The contributing factors of the incident have not been publicly reported at this time.
Officials stated that at least one person was hurt in the wreck. Emergency medical services were rendered to those in need at the scene. Seriously injured parties were transported to area hospitals via ambulance in order to receive further care.
The area where the wreck occurred was blocked off to local drivers while crews were present at the scene. Local motorists were forced to find alternative travel routes for the time being.
