Van Horn, TX - Bradly Johnson, Viviana Carrillo Killed, One Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on I-10 EB

Van Horn, TX (June 2, 2021) - An SUV spun out of control on Interstate 10 in Culberson County over Memorial Day weekend triggered a three-vehicle crash that claimed the lives of an Arizona truck driver and a Texas woman.

Troopers said that the wreck occurred on I-10 eastbound, about 10 miles outside of Van Horn when the SUV driver lost control on the highway and hit a semi-truck, which was struck by a second semi-truck and burst into flames.

Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety identified the victims as 53-year-old Bradly Dean Johnson and 33-year-old Viviana Carrillo. The other truck driver, 50-year-old Rigoberto Villalobos, was hospitalized with critical injuries. His current condition is unknown.
