Farah Law founding attorney George Farah recently brought together Houston area alumni and friends of the University of Texas at El Paso alumni for a fundraiser in support of establishing an endowed scholarship to help bridge educational gaps in Houston and El Paso. This endowment will enable Houston area high school students to attend UTEP after graduation.
The evening was a huge success, with attendees exceeding the evenings $25,000 fundraising goal and UTEP alumni from Houston’s legal and business communities coming together to share stories about the positive impact UTEP has made on their lives.
“As a UTEP alumnus, I am honored to support the institution that gave so much support to me and helped establish the foundation for where I am today. This evening marked the beginning of what I hope is a long and prosperous exchange of ideas, support, and resources between the El Paso and Houston communities that launched my legal career,” said founder George Farah.
Farah Law has a long history of supporting UTEP, the alma mater to firm attorneys George Farah, Milad Farah and Geoffrey Borschow.
